The American Albanian Law Enforcement Association (AALEA)  Raises $15,000 for Fallen Albanian Police Officer Saimir Hoxha.

On October 9th, 2021, at the General Directorate of Albanian State Police in Tirana, Albania, a poignant moment of solidarity unfolded as the American-Albanian Law Enforcement Association (AALEA) presented a check of $15,000.00 to the spouse of fallen Officer Martyr Saimir Hoxha.

In attendance were the General Director of the State Police, Gledis Nano, and representatives from the American Embassy. Erald Krisafi, Vice President of AALEA, conveyed heartfelt condolences and emphasized the shared pain and solidarity among law enforcement communities worldwide.

The donation, symbolizing respect and gratitude for Officer Hoxha’s sacrifice, was a poignant gesture from AALEA to support his grieving family. Director General Gledis Nano expressed gratitude for AALEA’s solidarity, echoing the sentiment that no police officer should ever be lost in the line of duty.

Mrs. Lisjana Hoxha, the widow of Officer Saimir Hoxha, expressed her appreciation for the support shown by AALEA and the State Police.

This act of solidarity underscores the importance of supporting law enforcement officers and their families during times of tragedy, regardless of geographical boundaries.
