This event served as a platform for AALEA to express gratitude and honor three distinguished figures within the New York Police Department (NYPD) for their unwavering dedication to the wider community and their special bond with the Albanian community in New York.
Among the honorees were First Deputy Commissioner of the NYPD, Mr. Edward Caban; Chief of Strategic Initiatives in the NYPD, Mr. Isa Abbassi; and NYPD Chaplain, the Rev. Robert Romano. AALEA presented these individuals with awards as a token of appreciation for their selfless service and relentless efforts in safeguarding communities. Furthermore, their close relationship and support towards the Albanian community were recognized and celebrated.
