The American Albanian Law Enforcement Association (AALEA), a nationwide organization representing Albanian-American law enforcement professionals across the United States, was honored to meet with General Director Skënder Hita, Director General of the Albanian State Police, during its official delegation visit to Tirana. The delegation was led by AALEA Founder and Chairman Elton Shametaj.
The meeting reaffirmed the enduring bond between the Albanian State Police and the Albanian-American law enforcement diaspora, built upon mutual respect, shared professional values, and a common commitment to public safety.
On behalf of AALEA, Chairman Elton Shametaj extended heartfelt congratulations to General Director Hita on his appointment and wished him continued success as he leads the Albanian State Police into a new era of excellence.

He recognized AALEA’s ongoing contributions in strengthening professional ties, promoting cooperation, supporting the Albanian State Police through donations of personal protective equipment and specialized resources, and serving as distinguished ambassadors of Albania throughout the United States.
The discussion emphasized expanding collaboration through professional exchanges, training opportunities, and initiatives that further strengthen the relationship between the Albanian State Police and Albanian-American law enforcement professionals.
