The American Albanian Law Enforcement Association (AALEA) proudly announces the donation of essential tactical clothing, body armor, ballistic helmets, and other critical protective equipment to the Border Police Commissariat at Rinas International Airport, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the safety and operational readiness of Albania’s law enforcement professionals.
This significant contribution reflects the unwavering dedication of Albanian-American law enforcement officers who proudly serve throughout the United States while remaining committed to strengthening the institutions that protect their homeland. By providing modern protective equipment, AALEA aims to enhance officer safety, preparedness, and effectiveness in carrying out one of Albania’s most important national security missions.
As Albania’s principal international gateway, Rinas International Airport serves as a vital first line of defense against transnational crime, illegal trafficking, terrorism, and other cross-border threats. The Border Police officers assigned to this strategic location work around the clock to protect the nation’s borders and ensure the safety of millions of travelers each year.
The donated equipment includes tactical uniforms, body armor, ballistic helmets, protective gear, and other mission-essential law enforcement equipment, helping officers perform their duties with greater protection and confidence.
