The Annual American Albanian Law Enforcement Association (AALEA) Cigar Night held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at The Graycliff in Moonachie, NJ, was an evening filled with camaraderie, appreciation, and celebration. AALEA welcomed its members, associates, and esteemed guests to indulge in an unforgettable night of fellowship and relaxation.
As the event commenced, the cocktail room and patio quickly filled with AALEA members and their associates, eager to partake in the festivities. The AALEA Cigar Night was graced by the presence of distinguished members from various Law Enforcement Associations at the local, state, and federal levels. Additionally, diplomats and supportive family members joined in, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the AALEA and its mission.
The main ballroom served as the backdrop for a moving moment as over 200 guests stood together, pledging allegiance to the flag of the United States. This solemn act was followed by a stirring presentation by the Bergen County Sheriff Department Honor Guard, further highlighting the unity and pride among law enforcement professionals.
Chairman Elton Shametaj and Association Chaplain Dr. Tahir Kukaj welcomed attendees with warm greetings, setting the tone for an evening of unity and appreciation. Their words of encouragement and gratitude resonated with all present, reinforcing the sense of belonging within the American Albanian Law Enforcement Associaton community.
