The AALEA delegation meets Kosovo Police’s General Director.

On February 16, 2021, the premises of the General Directorate of Kosovo Police in Prishtina set the stage for a significant meeting between the American Albanian Law Enforcement Association (AALEA) delegation and Mr. Samedin Mehmeti, the General Director of Kosovo Police. This gathering epitomized our commitment to fostering community service, police inclusivity, and support for our compatriots in blue and their families, even across oceans.

Director Mehmeti’s warm reception of the AALEA delegation underscored the shared goals and experiences between our organizations. He provided valuable insights into Kosovo Police’s engagements in security and inter-institutional cooperation, highlighting areas of mutual interest.

This visit was not only fruitful but also showcased the spirit of collaboration and support. Director Mehmeti’s gesture of gratitude, exemplified by the distribution of a letter of thanks to our representative, emphasized the importance of standing together during challenging times, such as the pandemic.

In turn, the AALEA delegation expressed heartfelt appreciation to Director Mehmeti and congratulated Kosovo Police on their commendable achievements in serving citizens and the nation. As a symbol of solidarity and shared values, we proudly presented the emblem of AALEA, further cementing the bond between our organizations.

This meeting reaffirmed our commitment to continue supporting one another in various fields of mutual interest, including community service, police inclusivity, and initiatives aimed at assisting our fellow law enforcement officers and their families whenever the call for help arises across the ocean. #AALEA #CommunityService #PoliceInclusivity #SupportingOfficers #Solidarity #Collaboration”
